Cairo: Welcome to Cairo, the vibrant capital of Egypt! Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, our professional team will welcome you then transfer you to your starting hotel. Take some time to settle in and relax, or if you arrive early, consider joining a street tour of Cairo that can be arranged with your guide. This early adventure takes you to hidden gems and lesser-known highlights of the city, including the iconic Tahrir Square.

Day 2/13

Cairo: A thrilling day is ahead for you filled with awe and wonder! Today, you embark on a journey to explore the legendary Pyramids of Giza with their iconic Sphinx at the Giza Plateau. These magnificent structures are the sole survivors from the ancient Greek-listed Seven Wonders of the World, making them the oldest tourist attraction on the planet! Your adventure continues as you uncover the sand-strewn tombs and temples of the ancient necropolis of Saqqara, home to the remarkable Step Pyramid of Djoser. This 6-tier, 4-sided structure is the earliest colossal stone building in Egypt.

We highly recommend you return to the site at night to enjoy the enchanting experience of the sound & light show at the Pyramids and Sphinx. This dramatic show is unlike anything else you may have experienced. Here, you will see these magnificent structures tell you their story with the support of gripping music and captivating lights.

Day 3/13

Cairo: Today, you will embark on a captivating journey to the brand new Grand Egyptian Museum. This extraordinary museum houses a colossal exhibition showcasing the treasures of King Tutankhamun. Prepare to be amazed as you witness artifacts being displayed for the first time, brought together from across Egypt and the world. The museum also embraces cutting-edge technology, including virtual reality, providing a truly immersive experience.

Note: This museum is set to open late 2023. If, however, it did not open on time, your visit will be to the current Egyptian Museum, the oldest archaeological museum in the Middle East and houses the largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities in the world.

After our guided tour of the museum, you will venture to the new National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. Here, you will have the opportunity to visit the captivating Royal Mummies’ Hall, where the preserved remains of ancient Egyptian kings and queens are on display.

In the evening, you will fly to Aswan, setting the stage for the next leg of our adventure.

Day 4/13

Aswan: Awakening from a night of hopefully serene repose, prepare yourself for an enthralling voyage across the shimmering waters of the Nile, as you embark on a captivating boat trip to the ethereal Agilika Island. Nestled within the reservoir of the Aswan Low Dam, graciously poised downstream of the majestic Aswan Dam and Lake Nasser, lies the resplendent Philae Temple—an opulent complex honoring the divine goddess, Isis. Day 5/13

Aswan: Today, you will embark on an early morning excursion to the awe-inspiring rock-cut Temples of Abu Simbel, built by the mighty King Ramses II. These awe-inspiring temples, carved into the sandstone cliffs, transport visitors back in time to an era of unparalleled architectural marvels and dynastic splendor.

In a remarkable feat of engineering and international collaboration, the Temples of Abu Simbel were relocated in the 1960s to save them from the rising waters of the newly constructed Aswan High Dam. This colossal endeavor, led by UNESCO, involved dismantling and relocating the temples piece by piece, ensuring their preservation for future generations. It stands as a testament to humanity’s dedication to safeguarding our shared cultural heritage.

At some point during the day, you will board your luxurious 5-star Nile Cruise to start your stunning Nile cruise as we set sail towards Edfu.
Then you will cruise to Kom Ombo. You will disembark at Kom Ombo (The Hill of Gold) where you will be visit the Greco-Roman temple of two Gods, Haroeris (the sun god) and Sobek (the crocodile god.) After your visit, you will head back to the ship to sail to Edfu.

Day 6/13

Edfu: You will start your day with a visit to the Temple of Horus, the falcon-head god of sky. This temple, built between 237 and 57 BC, is one of the best-preserved ancient monuments in Egypt and was erected initially by pharaoh Ptolemy III. Here you are offered a window into the past as you immerse yourself in the rituals and traditions of ancient Egypt. Back on board, we will continue our cruise to Luxor.

Prepare to be enchanted as we journey to the east bank of the river, where the awe-inspiring Temple of Karnak awaits. Here, pharaohs of old sought to immortalize their names. As you walk through the Great Hypostyle Hall, marvel at the towering columns that soar 80 feet high. Then, take your time and explore the striking Temple of Luxor, where you’ll come face-to-face with the colossal statues of Ramses II and other awe-inspiring sights. Luxor: Get ready for an exciting day of discovery as we explore the west bank of the Nile and venture into the Necropolis of Thebes. Our first stop takes us to the renowned Colossi of Memnon, where towering statues greet us with their imposing presence.

Next, we’ll arrive at the architecturally stunning Temple of Hatshepsut, an incredible testament to ancient Egypt’s first female pharaoh. Take a moment to appreciate the remarkable achievements of this influential ruler.

But the highlight of our day lies in the Valley of the Kings, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the final resting place of pharaohs and nobles. Hurghada: Today you will embark on a scenic drive to the coastal town of Hurghada, our base, for the next few days. Hurghada is renowned as one of the most popular resorts along the Red Sea, offering a paradise for water enthusiasts. From sailboarding and yachting to deep-sea fishing, SCUBA diving, and snorkeling, this coastal gem provides excellent aquatic facilities for unforgettable adventures.

Day 9/13

Hurghada: The next two days are yours to explore the wonders of Hurghada or simply relax and unwind. Consider taking an optional day trip to Giftun Island, where you can swim and snorkel in the crystal-clear waters of the Red Sea. Your guide can help you to book this locally.
