Depending on your arrival time, you may wish to start your trip with a nice meal at one of the restaurants that your guide can recommend to you.

Cairo: After your breakfast at the hotel, your guide will take you to the majestic Great Pyramids of Giza and their faithful companion, Sphinx. Located on the Giza plateaus, these structures graced the lands of Egypt for longer than 4,500 years. They were a witness to much of human civilization. Tens of millions have visited these massive structures over the centuries. Spell-bounded by the engineering genius that erected them and marveled at the august human effort that was needed to construct them.

From there you will head on to your first shopping at the centuries old, Khan El-Khalili bazaar. Filled with exotic items, this busy and colorful souk was built in the late 14th century. Here, you will find many beautifully crafted items, hand-made pieces, and jewellery of all kinds and sizes.
