Our first stop will be at the awe-inspiring Roman catacombs, a magnificent underground burial complex that remained hidden until a peculiar incident in 1900. Witness the grandeur of Pompey’s Pillar and catch a glimpse of the renowned Library of Alexandria from the outside. Our next destination is the Citadel of Qaitbay, an impressive fortress constructed on the legendary site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Uncover the secrets of the 2011 Egyptian Revolution at Tahrir Square, wander through the enchanting El Moez Street, and explore the renowned cave church of St Simon. The choice is yours to make the most of this vibrant metropolis.

Cairo: Prepare to be amazed as we embark on an extraordinary adventure to Egypt’s most iconic attraction: the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. These ancient marvels, the only surviving Ancient Wonders of the World, will leave you in awe of the ancient Egyptian civilization. Stand in the presence of colossal structures that have endured for centuries, with the Great Pyramid of Cheops once reigning as the tallest man-made building on Earth for an astounding 3,800 years.

After you visit to the pyramids, we continue to the historic necropolis of Saqqara. Here, you will witness the famous stepped Pyramid of Djoser, dating back to 2700 BC. Along the way, we will also visit a government-supervised Papyrus Museum, offering insights into the ancient art of papyrus making.

Cairo: Embark on a remarkable excursion to the recently opened Grand Egyptian Museum. Situated just 2km away from the pyramids, this magnificent establishment houses an extensive collection of artifacts spanning Egypt’s rich history. Many of these treasures have never before been seen by the public, while others have been carefully brought back from Egypt and around the world.

Immerse yourself in the splendor of Tutankhamun’s treasures and experience the museum’s innovative use of modern technology, including captivating virtual reality exhibits. Following our guided tour, we visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, where the captivating Royal Mummies’ Hall awaits, showcasing the mummified remains of ancient Egyptian kings and queens. Later, take some time to relax before we embark on an overnight journey aboard the night train to Aswan.

Please Note: The Grand Egyptian Museum is expected to open in late 2023, but the official opening date has yet to be released. If you are traveling before the opening, we will visit the Egyptian Museum instead.

Aswan: Flying to the enchanting city of Aswan this morning and embark on a memorable visit to the captivating Philae Temple. Set sail on a boat across the mighty Nile River, immersing yourself in the serene beauty of the surrounding landscape as we reach Agilkia Island. Discover the fascinating temple, meticulously relocated from its original location to preserve it from rising water levels caused by the flooding of Lake Nasser.

Our exploration concludes with a visit to a perfume oil emporium, where you can indulge in delightful scents. The evening is yours to enjoy the charms of Aswan, perhaps by venturing into the lively market and experiencing its vibrant atmosphere.

Aswan: Indulge in an optional excursion to the renowned Abu Simbel, a temple of majestic proportions built by Ramses II and guarded by four colossal statues of the pharaoh himself. Later, we embark on an unforgettable journey aboard a traditional Nile Cruise for a two-night cruise along the mighty Nile River.

After our visit, we return to the Cruise for our final night onboard, surrounded by the soothing sounds of the Nile.

Luxor: Embark on a thrilling expedition to the legendary Valley of the Kings, where lavishly decorated tombs of renowned pharaohs await. Stand in awe of the towering Colossi of Memnon and explore the striking mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt’s second female pharaoh.
