Day 1 - Arrival at Cairo International AirportYou will be met upon disembarkation, assisted through passport, customs formalities, and visa and escorted to your waiting vehicle for the transfer to the Four Seasons Cairo for overnight. Day 2 - Cairo
Day 3 - Cairo (The Pyramids)After breakfast, you will be picked up by your private English speaking guide and air-conditioned car for scenic tour of the Pyramids and Sphinx of Giza which have stood for the last 5000 years. Complete your visit at Giza with a tour of the Solar Boat Museum. After lunch (included), continue with your driver and guide, on to ancient Memphis, the first capital of united Upper and Lower Egypt and Sakkara, site of the Step Pyramid of Zoser. (B/L) Day 4 - Cairo - LuxorYou will be picked up at your hotel and transferred to the airport. Depart Cairo via Egyptair to Luxor. When you arrive in Luxor you will be met at the airport and transferred to the Sonesta Moon Goddess cruise ship for a 5 day & 4 night Nile cruise. Once settled in your cabin lunch will be served onboard. You will be escorted on a guided tour of Karnak and Luxor temples in the afternoon. After returning to the ship afternoon tea will be served, followed by a gourmet dinner and belly dance show. The ship will remain overnight in Luxor. (B/L/D) Day 5 - EdfuBreakfast served onboard followed with a visit of the West Bank, the Valley of the King and Queens, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon. Larer, return to the ship for you lunch onboard. Sail on to Edfu while relaxing with your afternoon tea. This evening a welcome party will be hosted by the Captain. Followed by a gourmet dinner. The Ship will remain docked overnight in Edfu. (B/L/D) Day 6 - Edfu - Kom Ombo - AswanBreakfast served onboard followed with a visit of the Temple of Horus in Edfu, then return to the ship to sail to Kom Ombo while enjoying lunch. In the afternoon visit the temple of the Gods Sobek and Harocies in Kom Ombo. Enjoy Afternoon tea onboard while sailing to Aswan. This evening after your gourmet dinner experience an exciting Galabya Party! The ship will remain overnight in Aswan. (B/L/D) Day 7 - AswanBreakfast served onboard followed with a visit of the high dam, the granite quarries and the Temple of Philae. Return to the ship and enjoy your lunch on board. In the afternoon sail the Nile by felucca around Kitchener's Island, and the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Return to the ship for your afternoon tea and your gourmet dinner, followed by Nubian Folkloric Show (B/L/D) Day 8 - AswanBreakfast served onboard followed by disembarkation, your escort will pick you up at the Moon Goddess and transfer you across town to board the Kasr Ibrim cruise boat. Enjoy lunch on board before you visit the Kalabsha temple with its Pharaonic aspect, remodelled into the Greco-roman style and dedicated to the God Mandoulis then visit the hemi-speos of Beit El Wali, erected by Ramses II in the beginning of his Reign. Also, visit the kiosk of Kertassi, erected to honour the Goddess Isis. Return to the ship for a gourmet dinner, and nightly entertainment on board. (B/L/D) Day 9 - Luxor - CairoBreakfast served onboard while sailing to Wadi El Seboua. Today you have an opportunity to enjoy the ships amenities and relax. Lunch and gourmet dinner served followed by nightly entertainment. (B/L/D) Day 10 - Lake Cruise
Day 11 - Lake CruiseMorning visit to the citadel of Kasr Ibrim, sole vestige of the distant past of Nubia in its original location. Explanation is done from the sun deck of the ship as entrance to the site is not permitted. We have lunch onboard while we continue sailing to Abu Simbel to visit the temples. This evening you will be entertained at the Sound & Light show at Abu Simbel temples, followed by a candlelight gourmet dinner on board. (B/L/D) Day 12 - Lake Cruise - CairoPossibility for a second visit to the temples to watch the spectacular sunrise at the Abu Simbel temples, symbol of the international salvage of the Nubian monuments: the temples of Ramses II and his beloved wife Nefertari. Disembarkation: You will be picked up at the boat and transferred to the airport for the flight back to Cairo. Depart Abu Simbel via Egyptair flight MS 146 to Aswan & Cairo. Arrival Cairo. You will again be met and transferred to your hotel Four Seasons Cairo. (B/L/D) Day 13 - AlexandriaEarly Breakfast, then start your over day visit to Alexandria by private car & guide, visit the catacombs of Kom El Shukafa, Quait Bay Fort, Jewelry Museum, Roman Greek Museum. Stop for lunch, then proceed to Abu El Abbas Mosque, Alexandria Library (if time allowed), return to Cairo. (B/L) Day 14 - CairoYou will be picked up at the hotel and transferred to the airport in time for embarkation of your flight home. |

Breakfast served onboard followed by a morning visit to Wadi El Seboua temple, dedicated by Ramses II to the two Gods Amon Ra and Ra Harmakis, then on to the temple of Dakka, dedicated to the God Thot of divine wisdom, lord of times and science, master of literature. Then visit the Greco-Roman temple of Meharakka. Lunch will be served onboard while we sail to Amada. Visit the temple of Amada from the XVIIIth dynasty, built during the reign of Thotmosis III, Amenophis III and Thotmosis IV. Also, visit the hemi-speos of Derr, dedicated by Ramses II to the rising sun. Finally the tomb of Penout, viceroy of Nubia. Sail to Kasr Ibrim.
