Day 1 - Cairo
Arrival in the Land of the Pharaohs. At Cairo International airport you will be welcomed and assisted through immigration and customs by our representative, then escorted to your hotel.
Day 2 - Cairo, Aswan
Morning flight to Aswan upon arrival you will be escorted to your hotel. (B)
Day 3 - Aswan (Cruise departure Wednesday)

After breakfast, transfer to your cruise ship where you will spend the next 3 nights / 4 days. Accommodation aboard your cruise ship will consist of outside junior suite cabin with private facilities. You will visit the High Dam, the Granite Quarries with the Unfinished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae, view of Kitchener’s Island botanical garden and the Agha Khan Mausoleum by felucca. After lunch, sail to Kom Ombo where you will visit the Ptolemaic Temple of Sobek & Haroeries. Then sail to Edfu and overnight. (B/L/D)
Day 4 - Edfu & Luxor
Travel by horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus, the falcon-god, considered the best-preserved temple in Ancient Egypt and the second largest after the Temple of Karnak. Sail to Esna, passing through the Esna Lock, and continue sailing towards Luxor and overnight. (B/L/D)
Day 5 - Luxor
Visit the West Bank necropolis including the Valley of the Kings, the funerary temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. Overnight in Luxor. (B/L/D)
Day 6 - Luxor, Cairo
After breakfast, visit Karnak and Luxor Temples, a centuries-old city of pylons, hypostyle halls, colossal statues, shrines and obelisks. Disembarkation and transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo you will be met and escorted to your hotel. (B/L/D)
Day 7 - Cairo, Old Cairo, Pyramids

Morning visit to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities which includes the world’s largest collection of Pharaonic artifacts and the treasures of Tutankhamen’s tomb. Then drive to Old Cairo where early Judaism & Christianity flourished and visit Al Moallaka Church (Hanging Church) and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Stop for Deluxe lunch at khan el khalili Restaurent at Mena House Hotel, afternoon visit to the Great Pyramids of Giza and the enigmatic Sphinx, then proceed to Khan El Khalili, the world’s largest 13th century covered oriental bazaar. Overnight in Cairo. (B/L)
Day 8 - Cairo
A free day for shopping, sightseeing or simply wandering through the city's fascinating streets and byways. (B)
Day 9 - DepartureAfter breakfast, transfer to Cairo International Airport for your departure flight. (B)
