Day 1 Monday - Arrival

Meet & Assist, Private Transfer From Airport to Shepheard Hotel Overnight at the Shepheard Hotel Cairo

Day 2 Tuesday - Cairo & the Pyramids

Morning visit to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities which includes the world's largest collection of Pharaonic artifacts and the treasures of Tutankhamen's tomb. Then drive to Old Cairo where early Judaism & Christianity flourished and visit Al Moallaka Church (Hanging Church) and Ben Ezra Synagogue, the Islamic quarter & stroll the Great Citadel begun by Saladin and visit the Mohammed Ali Mosque, also known as the Alabaster Mosque.

Afternoon visit to the Great Pyramids of Giza and the enigmatic Sphinx, then proceed to Khan El Khalili, the world's largest 13th century covered oriental bazaar. Transfer to railway station.

Day 3 Wednesday - Nile Cruise

Early AM
Meet & assist, private transfer From railway station to your Nile Cruise ship, the M/S Mojito. You will visit the High Dam, the Granite Quarries with the Unfinished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae, view of Kitchner's Island botanical garden and the Agha Khan Mausoleum by felucca. After lunch, sail to Kom Ombo where you will visit the Ptolemaic Temple of Sobek & Haroeries. Then sail to Edfu and overnight.

Day 4 Thursday - Nile Cruise

Travel by horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus, the falcon-god, considered the best-preserved temple in Ancient Egypt and the second largest after the Temple of Karnak. Sail to Esna, passing through the Esna Lock, and continue sailing towards Luxor overnight.

Day 5 Friday - Luxor

Visit the West Bank necropolis including the Valley of the Kings, the funerary temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon.

Day 6 Saturday - Luxor Disembarkation

After breakfast, visit Karnak and Luxor Temples, a centuries-old city of pylons, hypostyle halls, colossal statues, shrines and obelisks.

Disembarkation at 8.00AM
Balance of day at leisure.

Your luggage will be stored on board until such time as your are transferred to the railway station for departure back to Cairo.
