Day 1 - Arrival at Cairo International Airport

You will be met upon disembarkation, and assisted through the passport, visa and customs formalities. Escorted to your private vehicle and driven to the Mena House Hotel near the Pyramids your your accomodations located in the palace section (Standard Room). (B)

Day 2 - Cairo

Day 3 - Cairo (Old Cairo)

This morning your private English speaking tour guide will pick you up in an air-conditioned car for a private tour of Cairo. Begin at the Egyptian Museum, and after deluxe lunch at the Nile Hilton Hotel, tour the Synagogue and Saint Serguis Church ending up with a walking tour of the colorful Khan El Khalili Bazaar district. The car and driver will be with you throughout the day. (B/L).

Day 4 - Cairo (Pyramids)

After breakfast, you will be picked up by your private English speaking guide and air-conditioned car for scenic tour of the Pyramids and Sphinx of Giza which have stood for the last 5000 years. Complete your visit at Giza with a tour of the Solar Boat Museum. After deluxe lunch at khan el khalili restaurent within the Mena House Hotel, continue with your driver and guide onto ancient Memphis, the first capital of united Upper and Lower Egypt and Sakkara, site of the Step Pyramid of Zoser. Day 5 - Cairo, Aswan

In the late afternoon, you will be picked up from the hotel and transferred to the railway station in Cairo for embarkation on your overnight train journey to Upper Egypt. You will be traveling in first class comfort in sleeper wagons. (B/D)

Day 6 - Aswan (Nile Cruise)

Your escort will pick you up at the train station in Aswan and transfer you to the pier for embarkation aboard the Sunboat IV or Movenpick Royal Lotus. for 4 nights nile cruise. Lunch on Board followed by an afternoon felucca tour round the islands of Aswan, passing by the Botanical Gardens. Cocktail reception hosted by your Boat Manager. Overnight in Aswan. (L/D)

Day 7 - Aswan, Kom Ombo, Edfu (Nile Cruise)

Breakfast on board. Morning visits to the Temple of Philae on Agilika Island, the Unfinished Obelisk at the Ancient Granite Quarries, and the Aswan High Dam. Lunch. Visit the Temple of Gods Sobek and Harocies in Kom Ombo. Afternoon tea on board, and sail to Edfu. Captain's Welcome Cocktail Party. Dinner and dancing. (B/L/D)

Day 8 - Edfu, Esna, Luxor (Nile Cruise)

Breakfast buffet on board. Morning visit to the Temple of Horus at Edfu. Sail to Edfu. Lunch on board. Afternoon visit to the Temple of Khnum at Esna. Afternoon tea on board, and sunset sailing to Luxor. (B/L/D)

Day 9 - Luxor (Nile Cruise)

Breakfast buffet on board. Morning visit to the West Bank of Luxor, including Valley of Kings, Valley of Queens, Medinet Habu, and photostops at the Temple of Hatshepsut and Colossi of Memnon. Lunch on Board. Afternoon visits to the East Bank of Luxor: Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. Afternoon tea onboard, followed by a farewell gala dinner on board, with violin and guitarist duo. (B/L/D)

Day 10 - Luxor, Sharm

Breakfast on board. Disembarkation, you will be picked up at the port and transerred to the airport in Luxor. Depart Luxor via Egyptair. Arrive Sharm airport, where you will be met by your private escort and assisted with the transfer to the Hyatt Regency.
