Thank you so much for helping me plan my trip to Egypt! It was the best trip and experience of a lifetime for me. I have traveled the world and many different countries, but there is no experience better and more fulfilling than Egypt. Private transfers everywhere and having a private egyptologist really made my experience unforgettable. From Aswan, to Luxor, to Cairo and Giza, I had the best time ever.

I just wanted to let you know what an amazing time Matt and I had in Egypt and in Italy. Your local representatives were consistently professional, helpful and knowledgeable, on time and caring about our well being. Your help before and throughout the trip was also key in ensuring a wonderful experience. Thanks for your availability, all the quick responses and the detail you put into the planning. (For instance, your arrangements for us to receive two bottles of water every night on the cruise ship was more convenient and helpful than I could have realized and something I never would have thought to ask for if booking directly. It was also great to have all tips included ahead of time.)

This was the longest vacation Matt and I have had in many, many years. And, we both agree it was one of the best we've ever had. The excitement of seeing all that Egypt has to offer, combined with the knowledge and helpfulness of the guides and the nice accommodations made it unforgettable.

As promised, José Iván and I are together to comment on our recent trip to Egypt.

Everything was fabulous. Our experience with the people from Sakkara Travel was wonderful. We were most favorably impressed by their responsibility, punctuality, thoughtfulness and concern for our well being. We really appreciated that they rescheduled one of our sight seeing tours, without any additional cost, when some of the people in our group were not feeling well and would have missed it had it not been rescheduled. The vehicles used were very confortable and in excellent conditions. Our guides were knowledgable, friendly and fun to be with.

Accomodations were very confortable and conviniently located. They were a most appropriate selection, being the best in each locality. The view of the pyramids from the Mena House was breathtakinng, the view of the Nile and Elephantine Island from the terrace of the Old Cataract Hotel was unforgettable. The same goes for the Old Winter Palace in Luxor and the Grand Hyatt in Cairo.

The cruise in the Mojito was very enjoyable. It combined sight seeing with restful periods sailing along the Nile. The ship was very confortable and in excellent conditions. The tripulation was very courteous and helpful. The food, not only in the Mojito but throughout the trip, was delicious and abundant. No way to be on a diet when in Egypt!

Security was extreme. At no time did we feel threatened or insecure. This was partly due to the strict security measures adopted by the Egyptian goverment, and partly due to the accesibility and concern shown by the personnel of Sakkara Travel.

In summary, the trip was everything we had hoped, and much, much more. We had a great time. Thank you very much for your help in coordinating and organizing the trip. Please say hello and thanks in our name to Tarek, our guide, and Marco, the person in charge of our transfers.

Hi Maya,

Just a quick note to let you know that our trip to Egypt has been wonderful. You did an excellent job planning our travel here. The Grand Hyatt was excellent; comfortable beds, great restaurants and service. We were also very happy with the Mojito cruise; it is a beautiful boat with very friendly staff and a good chief.

We were so well taken care by Sakkara Tours. Mr.Sheriff Nabil our tour manager was very attentive and always concerned for our security and comfort. Our greatest praise is for our excellent guide, Mr. Soliman Mohammed. It was as though we had our own University professor with us on the entire trip.

Soliman was a very professional guide with excellent English. He traveled with us throughout Egypt and always made sure we were well cared for and protected.
He was well organized, happy, friendly and flexible.

We saw many other guides as we traveled and saw that the clients were often unsatisfied. They seemed to be having difficulty understanding their guides English or felt that their needs were not being met. I would not hesitate to recommend that you use Soliman as a guide for your future clients.

As you know, there were several terrorist incidents while we have been here. We always felt safe, no matter where we were in Egypt. The people were always friendly and welcoming. I never felt anger directed to us. The people at Sakkara Tours and our guide Soliman always kept us informed. The Grand Hyatt was also very thorough and took measures to guarantee the safety of all their guests. However, even when we were downtown in crowded markets we always felt safe. The Egyptian people are very honest and kind.

Again, thank you for a wonderful trip. We leave for Jordan this afternoon. I will let you know about our travels there once we finish.

Last month, my husband and I had made a last minute decision to take a trip to Egypt and our only recourse was to rely on any comprehensive internet tour package that we could find. Ingrid's company fit the bill and we decided to go ahead with them. They put together a program for us that would fit our schedule without compromising the main places to visit.

Since I had not done much research on sight-seeing in Egypt, we agreed with their program and hoped for the best. I can assure you that we were very apprehensive at having spent a tidy sum on an internet promise of a holiday, but we went with it anyway. Luckily, our holiday in Egypt exceeded our expectations by leaps and bounds!

We are back safe and sound from Egypt with no problems. It was without a doubt one of the best times I have had on the 'road'. I am an old New Zealand back packer from the '60's and 70's and this was my first foray into THE 'guided' tour - something I had dreaded facing as I slipped quietly into middle age . . . it was great seeing Nadim George waving a sign everytime we stepped off a plane or greeting us at the small hours at our hotel in Cairo to see us off on another leg . . .What a guy! and so organised! He set us up with our own guide - Maher Habib - who was also simply outstanding.
